Lineage: A unique cut of Pure Kush grown in Hollywood.

Price: $20/gram, $55/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce

Looks: Large, dense, tightly trimmed nugsLight and dark green buds with a few orange hairs. Drenched in trichomes. One of my nugs from this batch weighed out to an eighth. Perfectly manicured, dank and extremely sticky. My fingers were sticking together after handling the buds.

Smell: Pine, fuel, sweet citrus, menthol and a hint of lemon lime.

Taste: Piney and citrusy with a touch of fuel and lemon-lime. Smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Relaxing with an incredible euphoric high. Clear headed, clean, social and happy. The body buzz is functional and comfortable. Good for anytime in the afternoon through later in the evening.

Summary: My top strain for the last 3 years and it’s hard to see this changing any time soon. The looks, taste and smell are always on point, but the high is what makes this the top dog. It’s a special, blissful experience.

Lineage: Unique phenotype of Fire OG Kush

Price: $20/gram, $55/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce

Looks: Chunky, tightly trimmed nugs. Light and dark green buds with peach colored hairs and golden hued trichome coverage. Dank, perfectly cured nugs.

Smell: Deep pine, citrus and fuel. Heavy pine-fuel OG stank.

Taste: A rich, piney and musty flavor. Hearty and smooth vapor with heavy lung expansion.

Buzz: Heavy, soothing buzz. Clear headed, highly sedating and euphoric. It made my eyes red and droopy and helped put me to sleep. Great for late in the evening and perfect for bedtime.

Summary: Still my favorite cut of OG Kush. An amazing looking strain with a smell and taste I crave. The buzz is among my favorite of any strain; happy and sleepy. My top choice for bedtime.

Lineage: A unique phenotype of Pure Kush, sister to OG Kush.

Price: $20/gram, $55/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce

Looks: Dense, compact, diamond encrusted nugs. Dark and light green buds with many burnt orange hairs and heavy trichome coverage. Dank and sticky.

Smell: Pine, sweet citrus, menthol and a touch of lime.

Taste: A piney flavor with a hint of menthol and lime. Rich vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: A crisp, clean, euphoric high. Clear headed, uplifiting and relaxing. The body buzz was strong, but functional. Best for the afternoon and early evening.

Summary: One of my all time favorite strains. The taste is complex and unique. The high is incredible; the perfect combination of relaxation and euphoria. Legendary Pure Kush is about as good as it gets.

Name: Platinum Bubba Kush

Type: Mostly Indica

Lineage: Unknown. A variation of Bubba Kush.

Price: $20/gram, $60/8th

Looks: Chunky, dumpling sized, big nugs. Light green and purple buds with bright orange hairs and heavy trichome coverage. Leafy and light. Brittle nugs that were dank and sticky when pulled apart.

Smell: Musty, woodsy and minty with hints of sweet spice. Recognizable Kush scent.

Taste: A musty, minty flavor similar to the smell. Smooth, tasty vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Relaxed happy buzz. Clear headed, euphoric and moderately sedating. Put me in a great mood and gave me the munchies. Numbing sensations were noticeable around my neck and face. Good for the late evening and bedtime.

Summary: The best cut of Bubba Kush for the second year in a row. Beautiful buds with a fantastic taste and a really pleasant buzz.

Type: Mostly Sativa

Lineage: Originally from East Africa, made popular in Jamaica

Price: $20/gram, $60/8th

Looks: Small, dense, compact nugs. Dark green buds completely crawling with pale brown hairs and golden hued trichomes. Dank and sticky.

Smell: A tangy, sweet and sour scent that stings the nostrils. Reminiscent of the scent of Sour Patch Kids and the strain Trainwreck with a subtle hint of cheese and spiciness.

Taste: A refreshing, sweet and sour flavor similar to the smell. Smooth vapor with heavy lung expansion.

Buzz: Heady, peaceful high. Spacey, creative and mildly euphoric with a relaxed energy and a light body buzz. Numbing sensations were noticeable around my eyebrows and down my back. Best for the afternoon, outdoor activities or wake and bake.

Summary: My favorite Sativa of the year. It tasted and smelled like Sour Patch Kids. The buzz was particularly memorable; peaceful, mellow and relaxing without being sedating.
