Lineage: An unknown blend of Hazes.

Price: $15/gram, $45/8th

Looks: Large, torpedo shaped nugs. Frosty, tightly trimmed nugs. Mostly light green buds with burnt orange hairs and very heavy trichome coverage. Brittle, but stickier close to the stem.

Smell: A funky, chem-y stench. Smells a bit like a cleaning product. Very unique scent. Not particularly alluring, but unmistakable.

Taste: A chem-y, funky flavor similar to the smell. Slightly harsh vapor with heavy lung expansion.

Buzz: Heady, energetic high. Euphoric, cerebral and racy. Had me feeling restless and chatty. Best for the afternoon or wake and bake.

Summary: One of the raciest Sativas I’ve sampled. Not my favorite buzz type, but I can certainly see this strain being popular amongst Sativa fans.

Type: Mostly Indica

Lineage: A cross of unknown cuts of Bubba Kush and OG Kush.

Price: $20/gram, $50/8th

Looks: Chunky, furry, funky looking nugs, Light and dark green buds with burnt orange hairs and very heavy trichome coverage. Dank and sticky.

Smell: Musty, minty, sweet and spicy. Pungent Kush aroma.

Taste: A musty, minty flavor similar to the smell. Smooth, thinck vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Peaceful, numbing stone. Heavy, euphoric and sedating. The body buzz was strong, but comfortable with numbing sensations noticeable from head to toe. Couch lock-y with an active mental state. Best for the evening.

Summary: My second time trying this strain and I enjoyed it every bit as much as I remembered. A great example of a proper Kush, I found myself craving the smell and taste.

Utopia (Haze) Strain Review

Type: Mostly Sativa (About 70% Sativa, 30% Indica)

Lineage: Brazilian Sativa

Price: $20/gram, $50/8th

Looks: Big, chunky, furry nugs. Mostly dark green buds completely covered with orange hairs and very heavy trichome coverage. Brittle to the touch, but sticky when pulled apart.

Smell: Sweet and sour with a subtle chem-y scent.

Taste: A sweet and sour, chem-y taste very similar to the smell. Slightly harsh vapor with heavy lung expansion.

Buzz: Peaceful high. Mellow, cerebral and slightly euphoric. Calming, but not sedating. The body buzz was light, but comforting and functional. Best for the afternoon.

Summary: A very nice Sativa with a chem-y, fruity flavor and a mellow cerebral high.

Platinum Blue Dream Strain Review

Lineage: Blueberry crossed with Super Silver Haze

Price: $20/gram, $60/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce

Looks: Leafy, frosty and chunky nugs. Mostly light green buds with a few peach colored hairs and abundant trichome coverage. Dank and sticky.

Smell: Sweet, fruity, creamy and grassy. Smells like Blue Dream.

Taste: A sweet musty flavor similar to the smell but not as intense or fruity.. Smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Soaring, heady high. Clear headed, slightly introspective, moderately euphoric and energetic. Best for the afternoon.

Summary: A solid Sativa that’s very similar to Blue Dream. The high was a little headier and racier than my favorite batches of the strain.

Cherry Pie Kush Strain Review

Type: Mostly Indica

Lineage: OG Kush X Grand Daddy Purple X Durban Poison

Price: $20/gram, $60/8th

Looks: Dense, chunky nugs. Mostly dark green buds crawling with orange hairs and moderate trichome coverage. Brittle to the touch, but stickier when broken apart.

Smell: A sweet and sour, piney aroma. Subtle lemon, diesel and grape scents were noticeable.

Taste: A piney, sweet and sour flavor. Smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Relaxing stone. Spacey, introspective and mildly euphoric with a comfortable body buzz. Best for the evening.

Summary: A promising strain with a buzz that was satisfactory, but not spectacular. I prefer a clear headed high that is more euphoric and a body buzz with stronger numbing sensations. This strain had me feeling relaxed, but stoned and spacey.
