Lineage: Hindu Kush crossed with Skunk

Price: $20/gram, $50/8th, $100/ quarter, $160 half ounce

Looks: Small, dense, tightly trimmed nugs. Light and dark green buds with burnt orange hairs and moderate trichome coverage. Brittle to the touch. The nugs could have been fresher.

Smell: Musty, piney, sweet and spicy. 

Taste: A sweet, musty flavor that closely resembled the smell. Smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Mellow, calming buzz. Clear headed, sedating and mildly euphoric. Light numbing sensations were noticeable down my back and around my face. Best for the evening.

Summary: A solid batch of Master Kush with a pleasant flavor and a relaxing buzz.

Name: King Bubba Kush

Lineage: King Kush crossed with Bubba Kush

Price: $20/gram, $50/8th, $100/ quarter, $160 half ounce

Looks: Dense, compact, tightly trimmed nugs. Mostly light green buds with many pale brown hairs and moderate trichome coverage. Brittle to the touch, but stickier in my grinder.

Smell: Musty, woodsy, minty, spicy and sweet. The smell was fainter than I had hoped.

Taste: A sweet, musty flavor that resembled the smell. Hearty vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Relaxed, numbing buzz. Clear headed, but a little spacey. Moderately sedating and mildly euphoric. Numbing sensations were noticeable around my face and head. Best for the evening.

Summary: A solid Kush cross with a pleasant buzz and an average flavor. The nugs could have been fresher which probably accounted for the diminished flavor and smell.

Lineage: Unknown. A variation of Bubba Kush.

Price: $20/gram, $50/8th, $100/ quarter, $160 half ounce

Looks: Chunky, leafy nugs. Light and dark green buds with some dark purple hues and many bright orange hairs. Heavy trichome coverage. Dank and very sticky.

Smell: Musty, minty, woodsy, sweet and spicy. Fresh, pungent Bubba scent.

Taste: A sweet musty flavor similar to the smell. Hearty vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Heavy, relaxing buzz. Clear headed, euphoric and sedating with a strong body buzz.  Numbing sensations were noticeable at the back of my head and down my spine. Best for the evening and for sleep.

Summary: A fresh and tasty batch of Platinum Bubba. The buds looked great and the buzz was a little heavier than other batches I’ve sampled.
