Type: Mostly Indica

Lineage: Unknown. Most likely a variation of Pure Kush, sister to OG Kush.

Price: $20/gram, $60/8th 

Looks: Small, dense nugs blinged out with trichomes. Mostly light green buds with a few orange hairs. Dank and sticky.

Smell: Pine, fuel and citrus. Smelled very similar to OG Kush.

Taste: A musty, pine-fuel flavor similar to the smell. Rich and smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Heavy, spacey stone. Introspective and moderately sedating with a strong body buzz. Had me locked to the couch with my thoughts slowed. Best for the evening. 

Summary: A great looking and tasting strain with a strong, debiliatating stone. I prefer a more euphoric, clearheaded and functional buzz.

Lineage: A unique phenotype of Pure Kush, sister to OG Kush.

Looks: Dense, compact, diamond encrusted nugs. Dark and light green buds with many burnt orange hairs and heavy trichome coverage. Dank and sticky.

Smell: Pine, sweet citrus, menthol and a touch of lime.

Taste: A piney flavor with a hint of menthol and lime. Rich vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: A crisp, clean, euphoric high. Clear headed, uplifiting and relaxing. The body buzz was strong, but functional. Best for the afternoon and early evening. 

Summary: One of my all time favorite strains. The taste is complex and unique. The high is incredible; the perfect combination of relaxation and euphoria. Legendary Pure Kush is about as good as it gets.

Name: Epic Malibu Pure Kush

Lineage: A sister phenotype of 91 OG Kush.

Price: $20/gram, $55/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce

Looks: Dense, tightly trimmed, chunky nugs completely covered in trichomes. Light and dark green buds with a few pale orange hairs. Dank and very sticky.

Smell: Pine, sweet citrus, menthol and a touch of fuel. 

Taste: A piney, sweet citrusy flavor similar to the the smell. A sweet floral taste was noticeable during and after vaporizing. Rich vapor with heavy lung expansion.

Buzz: Heavy euphoric high. The buzz was strong with numbing effects felt from head to toe. Clear headed, uplifting and highly relaxing. Stimulated my apetite. Best for the evening.

Summary: A fantastic batch of one of my favorite varieties of Pure Kush. The buds were extremely sticky. I love the smell and taste. The buzz, though, is what truly stands out. It’s quite heavy, but still very euphoric.

Name: 91 Hollywood Pure Kush

Type: Mostly Indica 

Lineage: A unique cut of Pure Kush grown in Hollywood.

Price: $20/gram, $55/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce

Looks: Large, dense, tightly trimmed nugs. Light and dark green buds with a few orange hairs. Drenched in trichomes. One of my nugs from this batch weighed out to an eighth. Perfectly manicured, dank and extremely sticky. My fingers were sticking together after handling the buds.

Smell: Pine, fuel, sweet citrus, menthol and a hint of lemon lime. 

Taste: Piney and citrusy with a touch of fuel and lemon-lime. Smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz:Relaxing with an incredible euphoric high. Clear headed, clean, social and happy. The body buzz is functional and comfortable. Good for anytime in the afternoon through later in the evening.

Summary: Still my favorite strain and it’s hard to see this changing any time soon. The looks, taste and smell are always on point, but the high is what makes this the top dog. It’s a special, blissful experience.

Name: Wicked Legendary Pure Kush

Lineage: Legendary Pure Kush #1 crossed with 05 West Hollywood Wicked Pure Kush. 

Price: $20/gram, $55/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce

Looks: Compact tightly trimmed nugs. Medium green buds with a few peach colored hairs. Caked in trichomes.

Smell: Pine, fuel, sweet citrus and menthol. Strong pine-fuel stank with a hint of lime.

Taste: A piney flavor with hints of lime-cereal and menthol. Intense taste that lingered after vaporizing. Smooth vapor with heavy lung expansion.

Buzz: Heavy euphoric high. Clear headed, uplifting, relaxing and mood enhancing. The buzz came on very strong at the onset, but it settled in nicely and didn’t lock me to the couch. Best for the evening.

Summary: A better version of one of my favorite strains of all time, Wicked Legendary Pure Kush is about as good as it gets. The buzz is noticeably stronger than Legendary Pure Kush and the smell and flavor is significantly more pronounced and intense. I picked up a lime flavor that was difficult to notice in the past. 

Name: Legendary Hollywood Pure Kush (Legendary Pure Kush X 91 Hollywood)

Type: Mostly Indica 

Lineage: Legendary Pure Kush #1 crossed with 91 Hollywood.

Price: $20/gram, $55/8th, $110/ quarter

Looks: Dense, tightly trimmed, cone shaped nugs. Light and dark green buds with many orange hairs and heavy trichome coverage. Dank, fresh and sticky.

Smell: Piney, grassy and sweet with a hint of fuel. Smelled “freshly picked” and possibly in need of a longer cure.

Taste: A grassy, piney flavor similar to the smell. Smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion.

Buzz: Relaxing buzz. Spacey, introspective, calming and mildly euphoric. The buzz combined the calmed clarity of the Legendary PK with the heady stone of the 91 Hollywood. Best for the late afternoon or evening.

Summary: A cross of two excellent strains with decent results. The buds needed a longer cure and the taste suffered as a result, but the buzz was pleasant and relaxing.
