Looks: Striking deep green nugs. Small, chunky buds with heavy trichome coverage. Dank and sticky.
Smell: Piney, musty and grassy with a noticeable fuel scent. Smells closer to OG than Bubba.
Taste: A strong pine-fuel flavor similar to the smell. Harsh vapor with heavy lung expansion. The taste lingered on my tongue after vaporizing.
Buzz: Heavy peaceful stone. Clear headed, spacey and relaxing. The body buzz was strong, it locked me to the couch, but didn’t put me to sleep. Best for the evening.
Summary: A solid strain with unique looking nugs and a heavy buzz that leaned more toward OG Kush than Bubba.

Name: 619 Bubba Kush

Lineage: Unknown. A variation of Bubba Kush

Looks: Big, spiky, chunky and leafy nugs. Purple and dark green buds with a few brown hairs and heavy trichome coverage. Dank and sticky when broken apart.
Smell: Earthy, musty, woodsy, peppery and slightly sweet. Deep earthy aroma with hints of sawdust and coffee.
Taste: A hearty, earthy flavor sweeter than the smell. The flavor lingered in my mouth long after vaporizing. Thick vapor with moderate lung expansion.
Buzz: Heavy, couch locking buzz. Clear headed, introspective and calming. Sedating with a strong body buzz. Made me hungry and rendered me useless watching TV and eventually dozing off. Best for bedtime.
Summary: A heavy Bubba with a deep, earthy flavor. I prefer more euphoric versions of the strain.

Lineage: Bubba Kush crossed with Platinum Kush.

Looks: Chunky, dumpling sized, big nugs. Light green and purple buds with bright orange hairs and heavy trichome coverage. Leafy and light. Brittle nugs that were dank and sticky when pulled apart.
Smell: Musty, woodsy and minty with hints of sweet spice. Recognizable Kush scent.
Taste: A musty, minty flavor similar to the smell. Smooth, tasty vapor with moderate lung expansion.
Buzz: Relaxed happy buzz. Clear headed, euphoric and moderately sedating. Put me in a great mood and gave me the munchies. Numbing sensations were noticeable around my neck and face. Good for the late evening and bedtime.
Summary: An excellent batch of Bubba that had me craving its taste. Beautiful buds with a really pleasant buzz.

Cataract Kush Strain Review




Name: Cataract Kush

Lineage: L.A. Confidential crossed with OG Kush

Looks: Round, chunky, purple and green nugs. Heavily frosted buds with a few pale brown hairs. Brittle to the touch, but sticky close to the stems.
Smell: Musty, earthy, peppery and slightly sweet. The scent stung my nostrils.
Taste: A musty, peppery flavor. Smooth vapor with moderate lung expansion. The peppery taste lingered on my tongue after vaporizing.
Buzz: Trippy peaceful buzz. Clear headed, spacey, calming and mildly euphoric. Had me quietly entertained on the couch with my mind active and wandering. Good for the late afternoon or evening.
Summary: An excellent cross with striking purple nugs and a buzz that balanced the effects of L.A. Confidential and OG Kush nicely.

V.S.O.G. Strain Review

Lineage: A unique phenotype of OG Kush.
Price: $20/gram, $60/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce /$400 ounce
Looks: Frosty, tightly trimmed, popcorn sized nugs. Dark and light green buds with a few bright orange hairs and very heavy, golden hued trichome coverage. Dank and very sticky.
Smell: Pine, citrus, earth, grass and fuel. There is a slight sweetness to the scent.
Taste: A piney, musty and grassy flavor similar to the smell. A cooling citrus flavor was noticeable on early inhales. Smooth vapor with heavy lung expansion.
Buzz: Heavy, tranquil stone. Clear headed, spacey, sedating and relaxing. Numbing sensations were noticeable around my face and mouth. The body buzz was strong. It locked me to the couch and helped put me to sleep. Best for the late evening and bedtime.
Summary: An excellent tasting cut of OG Kush that took me down in the best way possible. Very good for relaxation and sleep.

Lineage: Blueberry crossed with Haze.

Looks: Spongey, hairy nugs. Light and dark green buds crawling with bright orange hairs and yellow tinted trichomes. Dank and sticky in my grinder.
Smell: Sweet, earthy, grassy and haze-y. Recognizable Blue Dream scent.
Taste: A sweet and grassy flavor typical of good batches of Blue Dream. Smooth vapor with mild lung expansion.
Buzz: Soaring heady high. Clear headed, creative, euphoric and uplifting. Energetic and speedy, but relaxing with a light body buzz. Best for wake and bake and the afternoon.
Summary: A solid batch of Blue Dream with a headier, more Sativa leaning high than many batches I’ve sampled. This batch had me bouncing off the walls.
