619 Vader OG Kush Strain Review

Name: 619 Vader OG Kush

Dispensary: Green Works SD

Grade: A/A+

Type: Mostly Indica

Lineage: A unique phenotype of OG Kush

Price: $20/gram, $60/8th, $110/ quarter, $210 half ounce /$400 ounce

Looks: Chunky nugs that branch off into fingerling shapes. Mostly dark green buds with burnt orange hairs and abundant trichome coverage. Dank and sticky.

Smell: Pine and citrus with a touch of fuel. Sharp and pronounced OG stank that stings the nostrils.

Taste: Sharp piney flavor similar the smell. Smooth vapor with heavy lung expansion.

Buzz: Relaxing and peaceful high that’s heavy to the body. The head high is calming, clear and slightly spacey. The body high is heavy and comforting. Heavy doses will lock you to the couch or help with sleep. Best for the evening or late in the afternoon.

Summary: The Vader OG at GW is one of the best examples of OG I’ve come across. I’ve sampled several batches and enjoyed them all thoroughly. The buds are great looking, really dank and sticky. I find myself craving the smell and taste. The high is especially memorable; clean, clear and peaceful.

Udon Noodle Bowl: Slippery udon noodles with carnitas, vegetable rainbow, portobello mushrooms, peanuts and spicy asian peanut sauce.

Bibio - Fire Ant

Fire Ant by Bibio. One of the highlights from Ambivalence Avenue. Happy Monday.

Alexander - Truth

Truth by Alexander.  New single from Alex Herbert, lead singer of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. Very solid track. One of the better I’ve heard this year. Sounds like a jazzier Devendra Banhart mixed with Kill Bill. I’m very curious to hear his record.
